Lab Report On Exercise & Breathing Rate: Hypothesis

1) The aim of the lab was to determine if exercise affects breathing rate. 2) The hypothesis was that breathing rate would increase with more exercise, becoming faster. 3) Materials used included a stopwatch, pen, paper, and an area to exercise by walking and running. 4) Breathing rate was measured at rest, after light exercise (walking), and after hard exercise (running), with results recorded in a table. 5) Observations showed that all subjects' breathing rates increased from resting to light exercise to hard exercise, supporting the hypothesis that more exercise leads to higher breathing rates.

Aim- To find out if
exercise affects your breathing rate.
Hypothesis- I think if
we exercise more our breathing rate will turn out in
become faster and faster.
Materials Used-
• an Stopwatch
• an Pen
• an Paper
• area for warming up
• an Chair
• an Table
Procedure-
• start on by counting your regular breathing
rate. Count how many times you breathe in a
minute.
• note down all recording on a piece of paper.
• Walk in as much speed as you can around the
open area u have for a minute or so.
• note down all recording on a piece of paper.

• Run around the open space for a minute or so.

• Sit on a chair and count how many times you
breathe in a minute.
• you can Record all of this in a table.

Conclusion- My fallout show

that my breathing rate is getting higher and higher as I
warm up my body so the breathing rate increases. Also I
to say that my breathing rate is normal not more not less.
This lab proves us that the hypothesis is as mark. The
overall thing is that the more exercise u do the breathing
rate go higher and higher.
