CHAPTER 1

WHAT IS ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING (OJT)?

On-the-job training (OJT) is one of the best training methods because it is planned, organized, and conducted at the employees worksite. OJT will generally be the primary method to used for broadening employee skills and increasing productivity. It is particularly appropriate for developing proficiency skills unique to employees jobespecially jobs that are relatively easy to learn and require locally owned equipment and facilities.

Morale, productivity, and professionalism will normally be high in those organizations that employ a sound OJT program.

An analysis of the major job requirements (identified in the position description and performance plan) and related knowledge, skills and abilities from the basis for setting up an OJT plan. To be most effective, an OJT plan should include: The subject to be covered; Number of hours; Estimated completion date; and Method by which the training will be evaluated To have a successful OJT program, supervisors need to assign a coach to each employee involved in OJT. It is the responsibility of the coach to plan training carefully and conduct it effectively.

CHAPTER II

Narration of Experience

Week 1(November 28-29) My first day as a student teacher,

Week 2 ( Decemeber 2- 7) Observation week, Im sited at the back while maam talioaga discussed the lesson I really like her strategies, before she started to discussed the lesson she always make sure that all of his students was ready to listened.

Week 3(December 10-14) Practice for their Field Demo, maam talioaga and I

Week 4 (December 17-20) On the third week, it was there field Demo and Christmas party, I really enjoy their Christmas party a lot of foods, gifts, and games and obscures Ill meet the parents of my students.

Week 5(January 7-10) Periodical test Im the one who facilitating them and checked their test paper, and after their periodical test thats the time to say goodbye to my grade II section 1 students because we are reshuffling to other grade .

Week 6 (January 14-18) New Critic teacher, New students, after maam Mateo introduced me to her students, she give me a topic to discussed for the following day, I discussed the lesson in Filipino ibat ibang aspeto ng pandiwa and give example for their better understanding

Week 7( January 21- 25) Maam Mateo told me to teach in MSEP under by Maam Vicente on the first day I observed Maam Vicente to know the strategies and techniques in teaching MSEP
