One-Line Diagram of Power Systems

A one-line diagram is a simplified notation for representing a three-phase power system using standardized schematic symbols. It shows electrical elements like circuit breakers, transformers, and conductors. Instead of representing each phase separately, only one conductor is shown. The diagram graphically depicts power flow paths between system entities. Element locations do not represent physical locations but are organized sequentially. NTDC operates and maintains twelve 500 KV and twenty nine 220 KV grid stations and transmission lines in Pakistan. Some examples of 220kV and 500kV grid stations are provided. While Pakistan no longer has working 132kV grid stations, work has started on a new 132kV grid station in Dera Murad Jamali to supply several

One-line diagram:

One-line diagram or single-line diagram is a simplified notation for representing a threephase power system. The one-line diagram has its largest application in power flow studies. Electrical elements such as circuit breakers, transformers, capacitors, bus bars, and conductors are shown by standardized schematic symbols. Instead of representing each of three phases with a separate line or terminal, only one conductor is represented. It is a form of block diagram graphically depicting the paths for power flow between entities of the system. Elements on the diagram do not represent the physical size or location of the electrical equipment, but it is a common convention to organize the diagram with the same left-to-right, top-to-bottom sequence as the switchgear or other apparatus represented.

NTDC(NATIONAL TRANSMISSION & DESPATCH COMPANY ) operates and maintains twelve 500 KV and twenty nine 220 KV Grid Stations, 5077 km of 500 KV transmission line and 7359 km of 220 KV transmission line in Pakistan.

Here list of Grid station which working at 220Kv:

Some Grid station which working at 500Kv:

12345-

GRID STATION SHEIKH MUHAMMADI PESHAWAR GRID STATION REWAT GRID STATION SHEIKHUPURA GRID STATION GATTI FAISALABAD GRID STATION NOKHAR

GRID STATION MUZAFARGARH GRID STATION SAHIWAL (YOUSAFWALA) GRID STATION GUDDU GRID STATION JAMSHORO GRID STATION NKI

But in Pakistan, there is no as such working grid station of 132Kv. But in india they are still working. But now in Pakistan, they starts to work on 132kv station
Work on 132 kv grid station in Dera Murad Jamali has started. It would supply electricity to Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi and Bolan districts. The project started with the efforts of Provincial minister Muhammad Sadiq Umrani would cost Rupees 10 billion and it would complete in June 2013.
