Healthier options in drinks is a growing area of the convenience market. Lactose intolerance is on the increase. Approx. 90% of Asian Americans and 70% African Americans are lactose intolerant. Intolerance in Europe differs widely, 5% (UK, Sweden, Ireland) but up to 75% in Southern European countries. Soya drinks are much more palatable than in the past!
