The factory produces 450-650 metric tons of specialty green tea per year through a computerized and hygienic processing sequence based on original Chinese green tea formulas. Their green tea is made from estate fresh green leaves which guarantees freshness and high quality. The unique blend is due to the exceptional climate and rich soil of the estate which are carefully monitored and nurtured.

Seevali Hill Teas is into medicinally proven health beverage industry. Plant is located in Seevai

Hill Valley in the central Hills in Sri Lanka. The altitude is around 2000 feet above sea level. The
plant was Established in the year 2004.
Selective green leaf is a distinct advantage to maintain the finest quality & freshness at highest
level. Production capacity is ranging from 450 metric tons to 650 metric tons per annum & a
range of Products are on offer including specialty Green Tea. The secret art of the
processing sequence is fully computerized with quality being examined at all stages. The
grade mix is purely based on the original Chinese green tea formula and processing recipe.
Our Green tea is processed by sourcing estate fresh green leafs that guarantees
freshness and quality at the highest level.
The unique blend which is inherent to Seevali Green Tea Factory is due to the exceptional
climatic conditions and the rich fertile soil that is exclusively prevalent to the estate.
These natural conditions are constantly monitored and enhanced by nurturing the plant and
its surroundings.

An art of Processing is secretive, highly expertised & the Processing Sequence is fully
conveyorized in order to achieve a hygienic Product. Quality is monitored at all stages & also
the grade mix is purely based on the original Chinese green tea terminology & Processing recipe.
However, marketing is done under Ceylon Green Tea.Seevali Hill Green Tea Products are
within the tolerance levels of Pesticide Residues & heavy metal and an Ozone friendly Green
Tea.

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT GREEN TEA?

The secret of green tea lies in the fact it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly
epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant: besides inhibiting the
growth of cancer cells, it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue.. Having enough
antioxidants in your diet means that your organism is able to react to some conditions much
quicker. For example, your skin cells are rebuilt at a faster rate if you have more antioxidants in
your body. Also, your internal organs function at a better efficiency mainly the liver and
