H3. News & Views

General information for Students
For this assignment you must select a current news/media/journal story or article and present it to
the class.
Task:
1. With your partner, choose a recent journal article, news/media story related to Advertising
and prepare an interesting, engaging presentation about it.
2. Topic must be based on news stories from the past 3 months, no later (i.e. current news)
and come from a recognized source. You may use more tan one source about your story,
but you should have one main source.
3. A copy of the original story/article must be sent by email to the instructor one week before
the presentation.
4. You will have 15 minutes for the presentation. Practice your presentation to see how long
it is.

5. There will be a group grade for the contents of the presentation and an individual grade for
each speak. Sudents get the same group grade for content, lenght, organization and slide
show (See rubric) but and individual grade for speaking skills and body language.
