Our Vision
The Computer Science Department provides programs in Computer Science
whose graduates are globally and locally competitive and recognized as
innovative and technically well-prepared computing professionals.
Our Mission
The Department's mission is to provide students and faculty with a dynamic
environment that fosters technical, professional and personal growth. We
prepare our students for successful careers in the computer industry through
dynamic programs of study that can be adapted to support individual life
time career goals.
We will provide CS students with:

A strong theoretical and practical background across the


computer science discipline with an emphasis on software
development;

An understanding of their professional, ethical and social


responsibilities;

An opportunities for further research in computing industry;

PROGRAM EXPECTED OUTCOMES (PEO)


Graduates of BSCS program are IT professionals who:
1. Have strong, solid and updated theoretical and practical knowledge in
ICT.
2. Have globally and locally acceptable skills that can adapt to the2 1st
century technologies and environments.
3. Has contribute in the innovation of new technologies and their
applications through research
4. Fulfill the ICT roles with a sense of ethical and social responsibility.
5. Engage in entrepreneurship through self-sustained and life-long skills in
ICT
