Thursday
9:00 am- Read book about recycling
9:20 am- Line up children
9:30 am- Direct children to the school garden
9:40 am- Organize children into groups
9:50 am- Teachers demonstrate how to organize plastic
from trash.
9:55 am- Allow children to practice activity. Teachers
will guide if needed. Praise children for hard work!
10:20 am- Go back to classroom
10:25 am- demonstrate to children how to use the new
blue recycling bin in classroom.
11:30 am- practice using new recycling bin when
throwing trash away after lunch
3:00 pm- practice using new recycling bin when
throwing trash away after snack
3:30 pm- sing recycling sing and read a recycling book
