AICTE-INAE TEACHERS RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP SCHEME
for Engineering Teachers for Doctoral Research in Central Laboratories
Considering the requirement of PhD as essential qualification for promotion for the post of Associate
Professors and Professors as per provisions of AICTE notifications in line with sixth pay commission, the joint
scheme envisages collaboration between INAE, various Research Laboratories of CSIR, DRDO, DOS and DAE for
undertaking research work leading to award of PhD Degree by faculty members of the AICTE approved institutions.
The scheme thrives for promoting research culture amongst the faculty in AICTE approved institutions
which could lead to an award of Ph.D. in the chosen field of study.
