Q.3 What are the limitations of the First Law of Thermodynamics? Explain.
Q.4 Explain clearly the difference between a Non-flow and Steady flow process. Explain why
only in constant pressure non-flow process the enthalpy change is equal to heat transfer.
Q.5 What is a control volume? What do you understand by the Quasi-static Process? Explain the
concept of Continuum.
Q.6 Derive the SFEE for a single stream of fluid flowing across a control volume.
Q.7 Give two statements of second law of thermodynamics and prove their equivalence.
