ANSWER
respectfully files his Answer to Plaintiff’s Complaint for Divorce and shows the Court as
follows:
FIRST DEFENSE
Plaintiff’s Complaint fails to state a claim against this Defendant upon which relief
can be granted.
SECOND DEFENSE
states as follows:

Defendant denies the allegation contained in Paragraph 4 of Plaintiff's Complaint in
that the parties have never separated and continue to live together with their children in the
marital residence.

Defendant shows that pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 19-9-69: There are two (2) minor
their lifetimes; Defendant has not participated as a party, witness, or in any other way or
capacity in any litigation concerning custody of said children named herein pending to
date, in this or any other state; Defendant knows of no other proceeding other than this
action that has ever been initiated concerning the custody of the parties’ minor children
and Defendant knows of no individual other than the parties to this action that have any

In further response to paragraph ___________ of Plaintiff’s Complaint, Defendant
shows that divorce should not be granted, thereby allowing the parties and their children
to be together as a family. Defendant states that he loves his children and wants to
this action continues and divorce is granted over the Defendant’s objection, the
Defendant requests joint legal and primary physical custody of the children.

Defendant does not desire the divorce that Plaintiff seeks. The Defendant shows that
Plaintiff and Defendant are professing Christians and requests that Plaintiff agree to

submit any and all disputes between them to the authority of a church or church body as
described in Matthew 18:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 6:1-7. If the Court grants Plaintiff’s
