Fault mode diagnosis

Fault mode Detection conditions:The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers: that the rail pressure
FMI 0 control is not working correctly
Symptom: Possible causes:

 Red central warning  Defective fuel control valve


 Buzzer sounds continuously  Defective rail pressure sensor
 Error message screen  Defective injectors
 Full fuel flow delivery
 Max. speed is limited to 1100 rpm
by the engine protection function
 Also sets MID 128 PSID 97 FMI 14
 Low power because of engine
protection
 Rail pressure limitation
 Engine shutdown
