Fault mode diagnosis

Fault mode Detection conditions:The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers: Leakage when the
FMI 0 pressure relief valve is open
Symptom: Possible causes:

 Red central warning  Defective rail pressure sensor


 Buzzer sounds continuously  Defective fuel control unit
 Error message screen  Pressure relief valve locked in
 Max. speed is limited to 1100 rpm open position
by the engine protection function
 Low power because of engine
protection
 Rail pressure limitation
 Engine shutdown
