Quantum State Renormalization Analysis

The document discusses normalizing an initial quantum state |ψ(0)⟩. It shows that |ψ(0)⟩ is not normalizable for any value of A. Instead, it uses a normalized initial state |ψN(0)⟩ that is expressed as a linear combination of four basis states. It then shows how this normalized state evolves over time |ψN(t)⟩ under the Hamiltonian and calculates the probability P of finding the system in the second basis state |φ2⟩.
