Objectives:
 To acquaint oneself with seminal works and important musicians whose work helped define the
style and sensibilities of the period; and,
 To symbolize music with a photo and express appreciation with a short description.

Directions:
 You must listen to a work by any of the artists in your manual. Try listening to the piece at least
three times. While listening to the music, try to picture in your head a symbol which you feel
embodies the art, beauty, and relevance of classical music.
 After you have selected a symbol, download or copy a photo from online (with source), and
paste it in this worksheet.
 Provide a short description below the symbol. You must express here what classical made you
feel, your opinion on it, and what you feel is its relevance and significance in our modern life.
