Setting IP Address
Assume that the current computer user (or POS host) IP address is 192.168.1.111, the printer IP is
192.168.123.100, If you want to print in current network segment 192.168.1, you must change the
printer IP to segment 192.168.1. If you want to change the printer IP to 192.168.1.205,to do as follow
1.1.1 If you connect the printer directly with the computer, connected it by cross lines.
1.1.2 If you connect the computer with printer through the HUB, ROUTER, SWITCH, you can
connect it by direct lines.

1. Select printer model --- separated it by the width of the print head, for example, POS58 to 58MM

2. Select the printer port - Ethernet port
3. Enter the printer IP address --- get the self test list through the printer self-test.
4. Enter the printer's new IP Address ---- 192.168.1.205
5. Click the Settings button ---- there are 10-20 seconds (when the computer (or POS host) IP and the
printer IP are in different gateway, it will make the computer (or POS host) network disconnect, and will
restoration after change.

When pop up any of the above boxes, please turn off the printer power supply, re-print self test page
after 2-3 seconds.
If the printer IP does not change, please check the printer power supply + cable + network connection,
and then repeat steps 1-5.
If the printer IP changed successfully, you can click the link test (as below)
① the new IP address of the printer in the current network segment conflict with the other network
connection device IP address.
Solution: Disconnect other network device, change the printer's IP address. Then
connect all equipment, connection test.

2. Change ID
In most cases there is no need to change the printer's ID number, (unless the net ID conflicts).
Printer has been assigned an original random ID number, if you want to change the printer's ID,
then you have to input the last four NO of the ID to the "last four MAC address" column, when the
computer (or POS host) and the printer connected, you can change the printer ID by follow steps.
1. Select printer model --- separated it by the width of the print head, for example, POS58 to 58MM

2. Select the printer port - Ethernet port
3. Enter the printer IP address --- get the self test list through the printer self-test.
4. Enter a new printer address ----each number between 0-255.
5. Click the ID Settings button ---- there are 10-20 seconds
6. There is a dialog box, please print the self test page to see if the change successful. If failed, please
try again.
