LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to listen and respond to short supported questions using target

At the end of the lesson, some pupils will be able to respond appropriately to teacher’s or classmates’
C questions with visual clues support.
1. Ask pupils to close their eyes.
2. Draw one of cloth in a corner of the board, hiding it so pupils cannot see. (e.g. skirt)
I. PRE-LESSON 3. Pupils have three guesses.
4. The pupil who guesses correctly does the next drawing.
5. Repeat a few times.
1. Display a few pictures of t-shirts with different designs on the board.
2. Point to each picture and get the pupils to talk about the design.
3. Write target language question on the board.

4. Demonstrate the activity to the class.
5. Point to the first picture and elicit pupils’ opinion by asking question. Do you like this yellow

II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT
6. Pupils respond while holding their traffic lights/emoji cards.
7. Continue with the second and third pictures.
8. Pupils do the same activity in pairs.
9. Give each pair a set of picture cards and traffic lights/emoji cards.
10. Pupils talk about the designs. Then, pupils take turns to ask and answer questions.
11. Repeat the activity by asking pairs to exchange picture cards with other pairs.
12. Monitor and help as and when necessary.
1. Volunteer pairs role play for the class.

2. Extension activity: Distribute worksheets. Guide pupils to complete the worksheets.
