Computer is a Blessing

Computer is one of the greatest achievements of science. It has transformed almost every aspect

of our lives. It is a modern and best invention in the world with a large number of benefits. It has

changed virtually all face in our lives. Humans rely on computers so much that now computers

have become the basic necessity of every person. Computers are in use everywhere, whether one

goes to reserve a train ticket or to a Bank. In short the advantages of computers are countless.

Firstly, Computers have the capability to store large amount of data and reduce waste. It has

reduced the work load of paper and pencil and also the chances of loss of information. Now one

can easily access any stored information within seconds and can also export that to other users

easily. Information can be stored up to many years without even a single chance of any

discrepancy.

Another advantage of computer is that, it using internet provides education to the people

especially children. Good educational software enables children to develop and practice a broad

range of skills. It can help them learn, for example, about letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and

rhythm. Good software can also help children develop their understanding of cause and effect,

higher-order problem solving, procedural thinking, and creative expression.

Computer keeps one connected. Connecting a computer to the internet unlocks the full potential

of a computer. Once connected, choices and available options are almost limitless. Computers

help to keep one connected with long distance friends and family over e-mail and social

networking. One can also connect with millions of other people that share the same interests or

people one would normally never meet.


Computers can help to make money. When connected to the Internet, a computer could help to

make money with many different ways. For example, it's cheaper to create and run an online

store than having a physical store. Also an online store or product has a global audience and one

can sell to anyone in the world.

A computer helps automate and monitor. It can be programmed to complete a task and, once

done, made to repeat that task as many times as needed. For example, a computer could be

programmed to move a robotic arm that builds a part for a car or respond, and forward incoming

e-mails.

At the end, computers have numerous advantages. It has eased the life of every person.

Computer technology plays a massive role in both public and private life. Nowadays in the

21st century, we rely a lot on computer technology. Computers are tools to create a better society

to live in. They have already taken a vital role in our society. As Steven Levy said:

“Computer technology is so built into our lives that it’s part of the surround of every

artist”
