Assessment Plan:
Students learn to differentiate between real and complex algebra, how fundamental
complex mathematical concepts are used to understand and solve basic differential
equations using Laplace transform techniques. They learn how to use powerful analysis
tools such as convolution for time-domain analysis and Fourier series and Fourier
Transform for frequency-domain analysis of continuous time functions. The knowledge
acquired from this course forms the basis of the student’s ability to solve more complex
problems in circuit analysis and signal and systems.
PLO 3 -- 12: These PLOs are not directly addressed in this course.
