INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Computer Systems Servicing NC II: Participate in workplace communication. This
unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to gather, interpret and convey information in
response to workplace requirements.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of this module, you should be able to:

1. Obtain and convey workplace information.


2. Complete relevant work related documents
3. Participate in workplace meeting and discussion

OBTAIN AND CONVEY WORKPLACE INFORMATION


1. Access from appropriate sources in specific and relevant information.
2. Gather and convey information in effective questioning, active listening and speaking skills.
3. Transfer information and ideas in appropriate medium.
4. Non- verbal communication in appropriate use.
5. Identified and followed appropriate lines of communication with supervisors and colleagues
6. Use of defined workplace procedures for the location and storage of information
7. Carry out clearly and concisely personal interaction
