I. Objectives:
At the end of the day the students should be able to:
K – Identify the skills needed in installing computer system and networks
S – Filter their prior skills about installation of computer system and networks by answering
the skill test.
A – Develop honesty in answering the skill test.
II. Subject Matter:

Topic: Introduction to Module 3 “Install Computer System and Networks”

Materials: Instructional Materials, projector

III. Procedure:

A. Preparation
1. Daily Routine
 Prayer
 Greeting
 Classroom Management

B. Presentation
Ask the students if they have any background about installation of computer system and
networks.

Discuss an overview about the 3 major topics in this module:


1. plan and prepare for installation
2. install hardware and software components and operating systems
3. conduct test on the installed computer system

Give an overview of the sub-topics under each major topic.

IV. Assessment:

Direction: Listed below are some of the most important skills that you must gain in order to render
quality service when you enter the real world of Computer Hardware Servicing. Read the skills
carefully. Write “YES” if you are familiar with the skill and “NO” if not. Feel free to answer each skill.
