A. INTRODUCTION
Through the operation program, the user can remap the data map used in the protocol
communication of DNP 3.0, IEC60870-5-101/104, MODBUS and IEC61850. The “Base Map List”
on the left side of the diagram provides the list of all available data points and the ones that are
currently in use are shaded in grey. The “User Map List” on the right is the Data Map that applies
to Entec‟s Recloser Control (ETR300-R or EVRC2A-NT) choose the data point to add from the
“Base Map List” then drag it to the “User Map List” with the mouse and the data point is added.
Conversely, drag the data point from the “User Map List” to the “Base Map List” to delete from the
Data Map.
The remapped Data Map can be saved to file and managed or transmitted to Entec‟s Recloser
Control on-line.

Remapped Data Map must be transmitted through the operation program “UPLOAD >> DB
MAP CONFIG” menu to be applied to Entec‟s Recloser Control (For more details, refer to
“Interface Softwer User Manual”).

1. Binary Input

Click the “Binary Single Input” or “Binary Double Input” Tap at the bottom of the “DB MAP
CONFIGURATION” window to move the Binary Input Map. The properties of Inver, Class, Var,
IEC Mask A and more can individually be set in the “User Map List” per each data point. The
property can be changed by clicking the corresponding property column (indicate the combo box)
when the data point to be changed is selected (indicate with a blue line).
The property setting items are as follows.

 Invert : It is used to invert a value of corresponding data point.

- NO(NONE) : Invert is not applied. If the corresponding point condition is „1‟, it shall be
transmitted as „1‟ and if the condition is „0‟, it shall be transmitted as point data „0‟.
- YES(OK) : Invert is applied. If the corresponding point condition is „1‟, transmit the data
point as „0‟ by inverting it and if the condition is „0‟, transmit the data point as „1‟.
 Class : It is to set a class that is related with event occurring in DNP3.0 communication.
 Var : It is to set Object/Variation to read to corresponding data point in DNP3.0
communication.
- 02/01 : Digit Change without time-tag
- 02/02 : Digit Change with time-tag
- 02/01 : Digit Change with relative time-tag
 IEC Mask A : It is to set IEC60870 communication use, there are Group(included in group),
Cyclic(Periodical polling), Group&Cyclic set options. Also, if the Class attribute is allocated to
Class1, 2 or 3, it will have the Spontaneous point attribute in case of IEC60870 communication.
 IEC Mask B : It is to set a group on IEC60870 communication use. Refer to “IEC60870-5-
101/104 PROTOCOL Technical Manual” for more detail information.
 SMS : Set whether to transmit SMS messages in case of event occurrence in the corresponding
point.
- NO : Does not send SMS messages even if a Binary Input(BI) event occurs.
- YES : Sends SMS messages in case a BI event occurs.
 Index 60870 : It is to set the object address to read to corresponding data point in IEC60870
communication.

ETR300-R & EVRC2A-NT Communication Protocol MAP Configuration http://www.entecene.co.kr

The Class & Var setting values are useful properties in the DNP3.0 communication and the
IEC Mask A/B and Index 60870 setting values are a useful property in the IEC60870
communication. The SMS setting value is a useful property in the SMS message transmitting
function.
As optional functions, the DNP3.0 communication, IEC60870 communication & SMS
message transmitting function will not cause any influence if the Entec‟s Recloser Control
does not support these functions.

The Binary Input‟s base data points are as follows. However, supported points may be different
according to the version and option of Control.

4. Analog Input

Click “Analog Normalized Input” and “Analog Scaled Input” Tap in the bottom of the “DB MAP
CONFIGURATION” window to move to Analog Input Map.

 Class : It is to set a class that is related with event occurring of DNP3.0 communication.
 Var : It is to set Object/Variation to read corresponding data point in DNP3.0 communication.
- 32/01 : 32 bit Change without time-tag
- 32/02 : 16 bit Change without time-tag
- 32/03 : 32 bit Change with time-tag
- 32/04 : 16 bit Change with time-tag
- 32/05 : Short Change floating point
 IEC Mask A : It is to set IEC60870 communication use, there are Group(included in group),
Cyclic(Periodical polling), Group&Cyclic set options. In addition, if the Class attribute is allocated
to Class1, 2 or 3, it will have the Spontaneous point attribute in case of IEC60870 communication.
 IEC Mask B : It is to set a group on IEC60870 communication use. Refer to “IEC60870-5-
101/104 PROTOCOL Technical Manual” for more detailed information.
 Active Event : It sets whether an Analog Input(AI) event will occur or not.
- NONE(N/A) : It does not make an AI event occur
- Active : It does make an AI event occur
*. NOTE ) The occurring AI event type differs according to the “AI Evt Method” setting in
the “GLOBAL SETTING/ COMMUNICATION/ EVENT&ETC SETUP” menu
of Entec‟s Recloser Control.
 The setting value is set to ‘OFF’: AI event does not occur even if the
Active Event property is set as „Active‟.
 The setting value is set to ‘TH’: AI event occurs due to Threshold
Configuration.
 The setting value is set to ‘DB’ : AI event occurs due to Deadband
Configuration.
 The setting value is set to ‘BOTH’: AI event occurs through both
Threshold & Deadband Configuration being applied.

ENHANCED TECHNOLOGY 49
ETR300-R & EVRC2A-NT Communication Protocol MAP Configuration http://www.entecene.co.kr

*. NOTE ) A user will set the “AEvt Skip at Ft” setting value in the “GLOBAL SETTING/
COMMUNICATION/ EVENT&ETC SETUP” menu of Entec‟s Recloser
Control to determine whether AI event is generated or not at fault pickup.
 The setting value is set to ‘YES’: AI event is not generated during Fault
pickup.
 The setting value is set to ‘NO’: AI event is generated during Fault pickup.
 Deadband Configuration
- Limit Low : It sets the lower limit to make the event happen. It does not make the AI
event happen in case the Point data is lower than the “Limit Low” setting value.
- Limit High : It sets the upper limit to make the event happen. It does not make the AI
event happen in case the Point data is higher than the “Limit High” setting value.
- Dead Band : It makes the AI event happen if the difference in size of the point data is
above the Dead Band set value during the Smoothing Factor time (1sec).
- Smoothing Factor : It is the delta time to compare the point data change and is set as
1sec.
 Threshold Configuration
- Threshold Low : It makes the AI event occur in case it goes out of the Threshold Low
range because the point data decreases or the point data value increases again and restores
within the Threshold Low range
- Threshold High : It makes the AI event occur in case it goes out of the Threshold High
range because the point data increases or the point data value decreases again and restores
within the Threshold High range
* The IEC60870 communication does not make an AI event that applied a Threshold
Configuration happen.
 Scale : It transfers the divided proportion of the Scale set value from the actual data value.
 SMS : Set whether to transmit SMS messages in case of event occurrence in the corresponding
point.
- NO : Does not send SMS messages even if a Analog Input(AI) event occurs.
- YES : Sends SMS messages in case a AI event occurs.
 Index 60870 : It is to set the object address to read to corresponding data point in IEC60870
communication.

The Analog Input‟s base data points are as follows.
