Third Lac Session Minutes Module 3a and Mod3b

The LAC Session started with a prayer led by Mr. Anecito P. Neri Jr. through an audio visual
presentation.
The session was headed by the LAC Leader, Mrs. Nancy D. Sarcos and facilitated by Mr. Anecito P.
Neri Jr.

AGENDA ITEM DISCUSSION
Review of Module The LAC Facilitator, Mr. Anecito P. Neri Jr. started the discussion with a
2 recap of our previous LAC session and eventually gave a whole overview
MELCs about topics to be deliberated on that day.
Module 3A
Lesson 1: The English Department had a thorough discussion about their knowledge of
Understanding the four modalities prescribed in the LCP—face to-face (F2F) learning, DL,
the Different blended learning (BL), and homeschooling.

Module 3A: Mrs. Diosdada G. Sasuman, grade seven (7) teacher presented and
Distance Learning discussed Module 3A: Lesson 1, Activity 2 of their completed distance
Matrix learning matrix, shared understanding of the different LDMs and their
defining features and requirements.

Lesson 1, Activity Since the LCP assures that all possible measures will be taken to ensure
4 that no child will be excluded from learning during the COVID-19 crisis, the

The LAC facilitator first had an introduction of this lesson followed by the
presentation of the Grade 9 Curriculum representative, Ms. Christille Joy
Fernandez discussed about Learning Delivery Modality, Parts of
Lesson/Learning Task and shared their output on Lesson 2, Activity 4.
For learning task not found in the SLM- Create printed materials that
would supplement missing learning tasks in the SLMs.
Module 3A, Additional support that we can give to learners- Provide additional
Activity 4: learning resources like activity sheets/worksheets and constant
Learning Delivery communication with parents/guardians for proper instructions and
Modality monitoring.
In MDL, to retrieve the modules and activities is the only way to give
feedback for students. Teachers may also set up communication
procedure with the parents/guardians for feedbacks, comments and
suggestions.
The English Department confabulated and shared their intuitions as well with
this school years’ learning modality which is the MDL. The LAC Facilitator
wrapped up the discussion and stressed some great insights shared by Ms.
Christille Joy Fernandez.
Module 3A, Mr. July Cahate shared and discussed the output of Grade 10 Curriculum
Lesson 2: Activity regarding assessment methods. He highlighted the authenticity of learners
6 scores and test results, which is an immense challenge to every teacher.

Immense feedback may not be done all the time
All curriculums shared their own crafted Weekly Home Learning Plans and
ILPS. Purpose, ‘For whom’ and components were also discussed. The
English Department decided to have a uniform Weekly Home Learning Plan.
In creating WHLP:
For grade levels where learning areas are taught by different teachers,
coordinate, plan, and discuss the WHLP with the learning area teachers.
Module 3A • Adjustments should be made on the timeframe for accomplishing the
Understanding learning tasks if there are any suspensions of classes due to calamities
WHLPs and (DepEd, 2020).
• Enjoyable learning activities scheduled on Saturdays such as
ILMPS
designing portfolios, should also be reflected in the WHLP.
• Be guided by the recommended screen time for learners set by the
American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the World Health Organization
(WHO) which are as follows:
» Key Stage 3 (Grade 7 to 10) – up to two hours for Grades 7 and 8
and up to four hours (two in the morning and the other two in the afternoon)
for Grades 9 and 10
Ms. Maria Lucille Mejias and Ms. Maria Christine, of Grade 8 Curriculum
presented the content of Module 3B. Module Objectives were reiterated,
Module 3B ways to access the LR portals, expected outputs such as Rapid Assessment
Learning of Learning Resources, challenges in utilizing DepEd LR portals and DepEd
Resources Commons were also discussed.
The session ended with a short overview of the next LDM Modules to be

session schedule by the LAC facilitator, Mr. Anecito P. Neri Jr.
