Computer Literacy Program in today’s trend is important in contributing innovative

and trending ideas among teachers and learners it has an important role for the operation of
the school as it continue its goal in giving quality education to all. Part of this program is the
systematic record keeping of pupils and teachers records, reports submitted, activities and
programs conducted, school projects and plans.

For us to have a clear understanding regarding this matter, we conducted a half day
SLAC session entitled “INSET ON BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM IN SCHOOL. It was
held on October 9, 2013. It was begun through a prayer led by Mrs. Violeta P. Andrada followed
by the singing of the National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Merlyn G. Dela Cruz. The school
principal Mr. Pablito A. Lina gave the opening remarks. He emphasized that as teachers we
should be well- informed and knowledgeable enough on School-Based Management.

We treasured the time we devoted on that day because of the relevance of the
topics discussed in our work as educators .The lessons gained on that seminar will help
teachers on the new system of keeping and recording of all the performances of pupils, the
accomplished projects of the PTA’s and other existing organization in the school. The
importance of having documents in the implementation of all the activities undertaken were
also been discussed as an evidence and support to the reports needed for submission to higher
offices.

The seminar was ended at about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The treasurer of the
teaching force, Mrs. Merlyn G. Dela Cruz gave her impression and at the same time, extended
her thanks to the teacher-participant and to the speaker of that day’s activity.
