This document outlines the course objectives, expected outcomes, student learning outcomes, syllabus, textbooks, evaluation methods, and classification of electrical machines for the EEE2003 Electro-Mechanical Energy Conversion course taught by Prof. J. Belwin Edward. The key goals of the course are to analyze the principles of DC machines, derive relations in AC machines, and evaluate AC machine characteristics and testing. On completing the course, students will be able to illustrate electromechanical energy conversion principles and analyze the operation and performance of various electrical machines including transformers and induction motors. Students will be evaluated through tests, assignments, projects, and a final exam.
