How to “Redeem”

VitalSource Access Code


1. Register on VitalSource
Before accessing your recommended ebook, you will need to create a Vitalsource Account.

a. Go to: https://www.vitalsource.com/en-uk/sign_up (if you already have a Vitalsource Account,


please go to step 2 and inform us your VitalSource registered email).
b. Enter your email address to register for your VitalSource account.
c. Verify your account when you received a confirmation email from VitalSource with your personal
details; first name, last name, insitution. Then choose a security question and desired password
required (password must contain at least 8 character consist of an uppercase letter, a lowercase
letter, and special character such as; !@#$%^&*?><, etc).
d. Tick “agree to the terms of use and privacy policy,” then click “Creat Account” button and after
that, your account will be created.
2. Redeeming your VitalSource access code

a. Log on to your account (click Sign in button) with your registered account at
https://www.vitalsource.com/en-uk/login

b. Click “My Bookshelf” button on the top right corner.

c. After My Bookshelf web page opens, click “Redeem” button on the top right corner.
d. Enter your VitalSource access code in the pop-up box and click the “Redeem” button in the pop-up
box.

Note:
After redeeming your VitalSource access code, you’ll see the cover of your new book in Bookshelf
web page.

3. Reading your ebook offline (PC/MAC)


To download your ebook to read offline, you must download the Vitalsource Bookshelf to your
PC/MAC.

a. Go to: https://support.vitalsource.com/hc/en-us/articles/201344733-Bookshelf-Download-Options
b. Choose the program OS to download base on your device access and follow the installation
instructions.
c. Download your books to read offline.

4. Reading your book on your mobile devices (Android and IOS)


You could access your ebook from your mobile devices by downloading the application into your
mobile devices.

For Android devices:


a. Go to you playstore application
b. Search “Bookshelf,” then click “Install” button

c. Access the Bookshelf application and login with your registered account.
d. Download your ebook from your device application to access the title offline.

For IOS devices:


a. Go to you App store application
b. Search “Bookshelf,” then click “(+)Get” button

c. Access the Bookshelf application and login with your registered account
e. Download your ebook from your device application to access the title offline.
