We are looking for good candidate to join our organization for below position
Position: API Tank Inspector
Qualification: B.Tech or BE (Mechanical)
Experience : 2 ~5 Years
Roles and Responsibilities
Managing and performing inspection of Welding discipline of Tanks and piping
Knowledge of ASME, API codes and Saudi Aramco standards. Perform T&I Inspection for In-Service Inspection as per the code for storage tank API 653. Perform internal and external inspections to determine if it meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document. Preparation of the tank assessment report of the shell as per the API 653. Preparing of repair procedure and method of statement as per standard and client specific requirements. Manage and plan inspection and testing activities like hydro testing works in assigned areas. Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points. Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted to client such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR). Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded Witness the tanks Vacuum box test, oil penetrant test, pneumatic tests, peaking, banding, plumbness, hydro-Static Test for Tanks Material receiving inspection and verification. Monitoring welding and carrying out final weld visual inspection. Final Box up inspection and witnessing applicable bolt torque. Experience with weld mapping and as-built drawings. Review and track material submittals required for Welding of Tanks and Piping. Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals and conduct visual. Review / Witness of PQR, WPS & MRB submission. Conduct and witness Welder Qualification tests, Procedure Qualification, Destructive test and verify compliance with the codes and standards. Verify welding qualification and ensure that only qualified welders are used in production. Requirements
Mandatory: API 653 and AWS CWI or CSWI 3.1 certification.
ASNT Level II in RT, MT, PT and UT will be an advantage. Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office. Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment. Oil and gas project, maintenance experience is required. Contact Details
