I. Objectives:
At the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Discuss the concept of water resources.
2. Appreciate the importance of water resources to human beings.
3. Assemble puzzle using cut-out pictures.

II. Subject Matter:


Topic: Water Resources: Sources, Concept, and Importance
Materials: Laptop, Google pictures
Values: Conserve Water
III. Procedure:
A. Prepared Activities
1. Song and Dance
2. Motivation
 Show a glass of water
 What can you see?
 Do you have these in your home?
 Do you know where the water comes from?
 Do we use these? Do we need these?
B. Presentation
 We will discuss about the water resources, the sources, and the
importance of water.
C. Activity
 Group the students into three.
 Giving of instruction for the activity.
 Distribution of activity card.
 Publishing of student work.
 Reporting of every group.

Group 1
Materials: cut out the pictures
Direction: Assemble the cut-out picture the determine what it is.
Group 2
Direction: Name the pictures of the sources of water.

Test I: TRUE OR FALSE
Direction: Read the following question carefully. Write TRUE if the statement is
correct and FALSE if the statement is wrong.
1. Water could be the key too finding life.
2. Water resources are the resources of water that are useful or potentially
useful to human.
3. To conserve water, leave the taps running while washing dishes and clothes.
4. The oceans have 97% salt water and only 3% is fresh water with slightly over
2% is frozen in glaciers and polar caps.
5. Lakes, rivers, and ponds are the examples of surface water.
Test II: Enumeration:
6-10. Give at least two importance of water in our life. Explain how its work and
connected to our daily lives. Briefly and concise.
IV. Assignments:
Research the uses of water.
