1. Knowing all the basic concepts and foundations on how to facilitate a learner-centered teaching. As future
educator, how would you facilitate a learner-centered teaching?
Answer: Teachers encourage students – centered learning by allowing students to share in decision, believing in their
capacity to lead and remembering how it feels to learn. Effective professionals development caters to what teachers think will
help them become more effective. This also applies to their students.

2. What is the significance and relevance of having a learner-centered approach in teaching? In what way does this
improve the teaching and learning process?
Answer: Learner – centered education uses interactive strategies to engage the students and develop their abilities. This
educational approach helps students develop skills such as decision making and problem solving, team work and
presentation skills that are relevant to the current labor needs. Facilitated learning is where the students are encouraged to
take more control of their learning process. The trainer’s role becomes that of a facilitator and organizer providing resources
and support to learners. They might also set their own objectives and be responsible for learning assessment.
