Division Superintendents that there will be a regional quality assurance of all the developed
contextualized learning materials. This informed the conduct of regional quality assurance of
contextualized learning materials in all learning areas on July 19-31, 2021via google meet.
The activity aimed to support the program of DepEd to raise the overall quality and improve the
effectiveness and efficiency of basic education through the provision of quality self-learning materials
for the learners. It shall be spearheaded by the Education Program Supervisors in the Curriculum and
Learning Management Division, and be participated by the respective Development Teams, Learning
Resource Evaluators, and Quality Circle of each learning area.
The timelines and deliverables for the Regional Quality Assurance of Contextualized Learning
Materials conducted on July 19-31, 2021 still via google meet.
The development and quality assurance of learning resources take a period in order that it will
achieve its objectives.
The development of learning resources also helps in augmenting the shortage of textbooks as
provided by the DepEd central office.
Learners’ engagement with a learning material results in better academic performance. In our
division, a few teachers are developing their own learning resources to enhance the teaching and
learning process and to increase the academic performance of learners.
Congratulations everyone!
