Copy of Unit 1 Lesson 5 Mindset Matters

This document discusses how changing one's mindset from negative to positive can help with learning. It provides examples of common negative phrases (e.g. "This is too hard"), reframes them in a more positive light (e.g. "This may take some effort"), and gives situations where applying the improved mindset could help with learning (e.g. having a hard time with math homework and asking for help). The goal is to shift from limiting beliefs to a growth mindset that sees challenges as opportunities to improve through effort and practice.
