1. Outline

Workshop Manual simple viewer is the application software which enables PC installed
browser of above IE7.0 to use simple viewer function included in Workshop Manuals CD-
ROM which was issued before 2006.
It is also available for CD-ROM issued after 2007.

2. First setting (Installation procedure)
In case of general PC, please do installation by an account user who has authority of the
Administrator.
As soon as CD-ROM is set “Workshop Manual CD Menu” is displayed, then click “Close”
button to close the window.

(* When with pressing “Shift” button CD-ROM is set, following screen is not displayed.)

Open the contents of CD-ROM via “My computer” , and double click “InstallMSV.exe ” in the folder “TOOL”-
“MSV” in order to start it.

* Incase “Manual CD menu screen” will be displayed when CD-ROM is opened via “My computer”,
right-click icon of CD-ROM and then selct “Open” in the displayed shortcut menu.

3. Operation of Simple Viewer
1. How to Start/Close
Start
Set Workshop Manual CD-ROM you want to browse, then double clicking icon on the
desktop it will be started.

Close
To close it, select “File”- “Close” in the menu or click “×” in the top-right of the window.

* If Simple Viewer will be started again as soon as it is closed, there is a possibility to


cause following error. In case of such as case, please try to start after waiting for a while
(approximately 20 sec.)

2. Usage
Please refer to “SMV (Service Manual Viewer) operation manual” for precise usage.
