Polynomials Assignment 8 - 0

1. A polynomial is an expression involving variables and their powers with numerical coefficients. The degree of a polynomial refers to the highest power of the variable. 2. The zeroes (or roots) of a polynomial are the values that make the polynomial equal to zero. For a quadratic polynomial (degree 2), the relationship between its coefficients and zeroes can be determined. 3. The division algorithm for polynomials allows one to divide one polynomial by another and express the remainder in terms of the variable and coefficients. This process is analogous to long division of numbers.
