Present Continuous (Notes)

The present continuous tense is used to describe actions happening now or temporary situations. It is formed by taking the present form of the verb "to be" (am, is, are) plus the verb ending in "-ing." Examples are given such as "We are copying the homework now" and "He has 5 trainings a week but this week he is going to 7 trainings." Questions and negatives are formed following typical present tense patterns by adding "not" or changing word order.
