and an ultra-mobile PC (UMPC).

Answer:
The capacity to move an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC)
around is its main difference from a desktop computer. UMPCs are
significantly more compact and lightweight than desktop
computers, which are large, heavy devices designed to be used at a
workstation or table.

Secondly Compared to UMPCs, desktop computers frequently have


more memory, faster CPUs, and more powerful graphics cards.
Therefore, more demanding tasks and programmes like data
processing, gameplay, and video editing can be completed on
desktop computers. However, UMPCs are designed for simpler
activities like online browsing, emailing, and running light-weight
applications.

Additionally, UMPCs frequently feature touchscreens or other


alternative input methods like styluses or detachable keyboards,
whereas desktop computers typically come with a keypad and
mouse. Due to their design, UMPCs provide more input technique
flexibility

Answer
1) Resource sharing: By networking employee PCs, the company
lowers expenses and increases productivity by enabling users to
share resources like printers, scanners, and files. Instead of
purchasing multiple printers, a company could purchase one
that all staff members could use. Copier for each employee.
Additionally, employees can share data with one another,
facilitating project collaboration.

2) Better internal communication: Connecting worker Computers


over a network can improve internal communication. Email,
instant messaging, and video conferencing are all quick and
efficient ways to communicate with co-workers. Remote team
members can also take part in virtual meetings. Teamwork and
productivity may increase when employees are working on
projects that require a lot of coordination.

QUESTION 1

There is usually a positive side and a negative side to each new


technological improvement. Select a Technology you use every day
and consider its benefits and risks. What benefits does technology
provide? Are there any risks involved and, if so, how can they be
minimized? If you chose not to use this technology because of the
possible risks associated with it, how would your life be affected?
Who should determine if the benefits of a new technology
outweigh the potential risks? Consumers? The government?

ANSWER

INTERNET:
Internet become a part of life of each person living in our
society nowadays Internet makes our Life easier and sometimes we
fall in trouble just because of its misuse so everything which we are
using have its advantages and disadvantages
Advantages

1) Communication: Regardless of how far away someone is, we


can interact with them via text, phone call, or video call thanks
to Internet access.

2) Research and knowledge: The Internet is a great resource for


knowledge. We can quickly find answers to any questions there.

3) Location accessibility: If we ever forget our path while


travelling, an Internet map can help us locate it immediately.

4) Entertainment: We use the Internet to watch movies and enjoy


games for fun.

Disadvantages
1) Addiction
People are wasting their valuable time by spending a lot of time online,
developing an addiction to it, and becoming hooked to it.

2) Physical problems
Spending more time online exposes us to potentially harmful rays that can
damage our eyes, disrupt our slumber, and cause headaches.

3) Stalking
It may be simpler for stalkers to discover personal information as people
share more details about themselves and their families online.
We can take measures to lessen the risks associated with cell phone use
by setting screen time limits, utilising two-factor authentication, using
password managers, and restricting smartphone use while driving or
engaging in other activities that require our full attention.

If someone chose not to use a smartphone out of worry about potential


threats, they would forfeit the benefits listed above and have difficulty
communicating with others and gathering information.

Prior to a technology’s introduction to the market, all stakeholders should


ideally work together to evaluate its advantages and disadvantages with
a focus on preserving consumer privacy and security and enhancing
results.

The ubiquitous nature of mobile phones today brings tremendous


convenience to our lives, but will misuse of new improvements to this
technology result in the loss of that convenience? For instance, camera
phones are now banned in many fitness centres, park restrooms, and
other similar facilities because some people have used them
inappropriately to take compromising photos, and mobile phones are
banned in many classrooms because of the disruption of constant text
messaging and the use of the phone by dishonest students to cheat on
exams. Do you think these reactions to mobile phone misuse are justified?
Is there another way to ensure the appropriate use of mobile phones
without banning their use for all individuals? Should there be more
stringent consequences for those who use technology for illegal or
unethical purposes?

Answer:

Mobile phones are widely used, which has an effect The


widespread use of mobile phones has an impact on all
facets of human existence, including business, health,
education, and social interaction, both positively and
negatively. Anne’s tactics, such as placing Ben in public
spaces like the park gym and classrooms, are unjustified
and won’t help problems get solved until there is no easy
fix for them.
There are a few different ways that can control and limit
the negative use of smart phones in society
