These release notes provide information about the Toad® Data Modeler release.
Database features
Teradata 16.2
l Teradata 16.2 is now supported
l Database settings are placed in Settings | Options | Model | Physical Model | Teradata | Teradata 16.2
l Reverse Engineering from a database, and DDL Generation are supported
SQLite 3.32
l SQLite 3.32 is now supported
l Database settings are placed in Settings | Options | Model | Physical Model | SQLite | SQLite 3.32
l Reverse Engineering from a database, and DDL Generation are supported
Enhancements
IBM DB2 LUW 11.5
l It is now possible to assign Dictionary Type to External Tables
PostgreSQL 12
l We have enhanced DDL Import for PostgreSQL
Resolved issues
The following is a list of issues addressed in this release.
Fixed: Users cannot Reverse Engineer an IBM DB2 z/OS instance where 3404/4740317
locale was set to DE
Fixed: We fixed an error when it was not possible to remove TDM installation 3205/4641141
performed with a modified MST file
Fixed: Users were not able to Reverse Engineer a IBM DB2 database when 3040/4709162
they did not have permissions to SECURITY POLICY and TABAUTH
Fixed: Icons are now properly registered after TDM connects to a TIC server. 2715/4737293
Known issues
The following is a list of issues, including those attributed to third-party products, known to exist at the
time of release.

Virtual appliances
Review the following information about using Toad Data Modeler in virtual environments:
Application Toad Data Modeler has been tested for Citrix support on the Citrix
XenApp 6.5.
Desktop (VDI) Issues during printing using virtual printers - The problem occurs only in
case of print from a local machine (all printers from local machine are
visible on vWorkspace). If the virtual printer is installed on vWorkspace
directly, the issue will not occur.
Server Oracle VM 3.0
Toad Data Modeler has been tested with ESXi VMware 5.5.
Toad Data Modeler may work correctly in virtual environments other than the tested ones. In case of virtual
servers, support for Toad Data Modeler is provided on the basis of supported operating systems.

Supported databases
Toad Data Modeler provides full support to the databases listed below:
IMPORTANT: You can also create and work with models from other versions of databases that have
been deprecated by their production companies. Toad Data Modeler cannot provide fixes and provide
support for more features of these databases. Uncheck Show Supported Databases Only to display all
databases that you can create and open models for.
Note: For more information about the level of support please see Help, section Introduction | Supported
