V. HOUSE RULES

1. Secure a stable internet connection for each scheduled class.


2. Cameras must be turned ON for the entire duration of the class, while microphones must
be turned OFF, unless called upon by the professor.
3. Each student will be given two (2) free passes to evade recitation on the ground of
apparent unstable internet connection. Once consumed, failure to respond after two (2)
calls will merit a 60% mark for recitation.
4. The Mid-Term and Final Examination will be conducted ON-SITE. Only those actually
residing outside the Bicol Region may take the exam virtually, but still on the scheduled
date and time with those taking the exams on-site.
5. For Virtual Examinations:
5.1. The Class Beadle will consolidate the student numbers, complete names, and
functioning email addresses of the examinees who will be taking the virtual
examinations, and submit the same to the professor at least seven (7) days from
the schedule of the exam.
5.2. During the exam, a two-camera set up must be arranged – one in front of the
examinee and another at the back where the screen is clearly visible. Failure to
follow this would result to the invalidation of the exam result. No leave for time
extension will be granted on the basis of failure or delay to comply with the two-
camera set up.
5.3. An MS Word Docx file bearing the questions will be sent to the email addresses
provided to the Class Beadle simultaneous with the commencement of the on-site
exam. The examinee shall input their answers right after each question. Once
finished, the examinee shall save the Docx file in Portable Document Format
(PDF) and send the same to the email address to be provided by the professor, with
the Subject: [STUDENT NUMBER], [LAST NAME] (ex. 23-12345, DELA CRUZ)
within the time prescribed for the exam. A deduction of 2 points will be charged
against the examinee’s score for every minute of belated submission.
