Position – Windchill Developer

Experience – 4-7 Years


Qualifications – BE/ BTECH (Comp Sc/ IT) or equivalent from reputed institutes.
Location: GTEC, Pune

Job Description -
You must be a competent developer with sound technical knowledge, which will enhance the delivery of PLM
solutions to our customers. You must have experience and knowledge (hands-on) of Windchill, Java
technologies and methodologies. The position is based at Whirlpool’s offshore technology center at GTEC,
Pune India and involves short term travels to Whirlpool’s global offices in US, Europe and Asia as per project
needs.

Roles / Responsibilities include


● Work with Solution Architect to develop functional solution
● Work with Business Stakeholders and Solution Architect to understand the requirements
● Develop customizations and configurations on Windchill 11.0
● Work on Data Migration for Transformation and Loading activities
● Ability to perform the unit testing
● Conduct Peer Reviews
● Develop ANT scripts for automatic build deployments
● Create technical documentation (like Javadocs) and deployment instructions
● Manage deployment on Development Server

Work Experience –     


● Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in Windchill customization
● Extensive experience of Windchill PDMLink customization (server side and UI side).
● Exposure to Windchill modules like PartsLink, ESI, MPMLink and ProjectLink
● Strong knowledge on Java and Windchill APIs
● Hands on experience on working of Change Management and Workflow in Windchill
● Should have experience on IDEs like Eclipse or Netbeans etc..
● Hands on experience for Info Engine, web services and integrations options with other applications
● Other required implementations (e.g. installation, configuration, customization, integration, data
migration).

Language : Java, J2EE, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, PL/SQL, SQL
Application Tools : Eclipse, NetBeans, WINSCP, SQLdeveloper, Putty, SVN, ANT
Server : Apache Tomcat
Database : Oracle
