Line steel pipes are galvanized, giving the piping corrosion-resistant properties.
Standard steel pipes are fabricated to a diameter no greater than 16 inches,
according to steel pipes and tubing. Structural steel tubes are constructed into
either square or circular shapes. Plumbing tubes are often fabricated thinner than
other types of steel pipes to allow for easier soldering.
