equipment, and paraphernalia in Front Office Services that can help you enhance your

knowledge, skills, and interests needed to develop your attitude in interpersonal

relationships. The purpose of this module is to assist you in identifying the

appropriate tools, equipment, and paraphernalia suited for your job. Through this

module, it is expected that you can cope with the diverse knowledge in front office

services. The lessons are arranged to follow the standard sequence directed to the

achievement of two or more learning objectives as shown below:

yes, then good for you because the demand for hospitality-related services is growing

worldwide. If you have communication skills and good in interpersonal services then

you can build a good career.

But wait, before we go further let’s see first if you know something about the

tools, equipment, and paraphernalia needed in this job for you to become a

successful career-oriented person. Come, help me in unleashing the important

things you need to know in front of office services. This activity will help you to

discover if you know something.

Additional Safety Equipment in Hotel Industry

The safety, convenience, and satisfaction of guests are the number one

priorities of any hotels. This safety and security may increase workload and unseen

safety hazards that can lead to a serious workplace injury or accidents working staff

and their guests. Safety is of utmost importance in hotel regulations.


Let’s concentrate on the safety and security requirements of the hotel industry

and let’s see what measures thus hotel management can do to prevent accidents and

contain damages if one occurs.

Smoke detectors

A device that automatically detects and makes

a loud noise when there's smoke present to tell people that

there is a fire.

Fire extinguishers

A device containing appellant gas to control small fires,

often in emergencies.

Sprinkler systems
