ABSTRACT
The Online Movie Booking System (OMBS) is a web-based platform designed to
revolutionize the movie ticket booking experience for cinema-goers. In the
contemporary digital era, the traditional process of purchasing movie tickets at
physical box offices has become outdated and cumbersome. The OMBS seeks to
address these challenges by providing a user-friendly and convenient online
platform for booking movie tickets from the comfort of one's home or on the go.
The OMBS offers a range of features aimed at enhancing the overall movie-going
experience. Users can browse through a comprehensive database of movies, view
show times, select preferred seats, and make secure online payments seamlessly.
The system also provides real-time updates on ticket availability, seat occupancy,
and screening schedules, enabling users to plan their movie outings efficiently. The
OMBS is poised to revolutionize the movie ticket booking process, making it more
accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for users while optimizing operational
efficiency and revenue generation for cinema operators.
In this project we describe how an OMBS operates and its basic structure. It will
include a comprehensive report on the topic which delves into various aspects,
explore different viewpoints, and incorporate diverse sources of information to
offer a well-rounded understanding of the subject matter.
