Task 1. Process
Task 1. Process
The diagram illustrates the process of creating Wesak Lanterns, which are commonly made by Sri Lankans
to celebrate the Wesak festival very May.
There are eight stages involved in making the lanterns, which include tying bamboo sticks together to form
the frame and cutting and pasting coloured paper to decorate it.
Firstly, 24 bamboo sticks need to be cut to a length of 25cm each. Then, four of the sticks are tied together
to create a square, and this process is repeated six times to produce six squares in total. Next, the corners of
four squares are tied together, the remaining two squares are tied at the top and bottom of the ring to create
the basic frame of the lantern.
After completing the frame, brightly colored tissue paper is used to create eight triangles and four squares,
corresponding to the shapes on the frame. These tissue paper shapes are then attached to the frame, leaving
the squares at the top and bottom of the frame empty. Finally, the paper is folded and cut to create fringes,
which are attached to the base of the lantern. The lantern is now ready to be hung on the lightbulb.
Given is the diagram illustrating how tea is produced, and how a cup of tea is made.
All in all, the process is composed of 18 steps, from sowing the tea seeds in India and China to enjoying a cup
of tea at home.
The initial step is when tea seeds are sown, and then the sun shines, which causes the seeds to grow in plants.
Once the plants have grown sufficiently, the leaves are picked by the farmer and put into baskets.
From here, the tea leaves are spread out in the sun to be dried. The tea leaves are packed into boxes and
subsequently loaded onto lorries which take the boxes of tea to supermakets.
In order to make a cup of tea, first of all, customers buy a box of tea and take it home. Next, they fill the kettle
with water and put it on the stove to boil.
Meanwhile, they put a tea bag in a cup and oce the kettle has boiled, the water is poured into the cup.
Having been left in the cup for two minutes, the tea bag is then removed, and the tea is now ready to drink.
At this point, milk and sugar can be added. The final step is to enjoy a nice cup of tea.
MILK PRODUCTION
The given diagram illustrates the intricate process of milk production and the manufacturing of dairy
products. All in all, the process comprises eight fundamental steps, from the grazing of cows to the delivery
of the final products to consumers.
The initial step is when free-range cows are milked by machines twice daily. The fresh, warm milk is collected
and then stored in a refrigerated to maintain its freshness and safety. This crucial stage is repeated daily to
ensure a consistent and reliable supply of high-quality milk. Once the milk has been sufficiently collected, it is
carefully loaded into a milk tanker and transported to the dairy factory on a daily basis. From here, the milk
undergoes various intricate techniques to be separated into different components. A portion of the milk is
then pasteurized, while the remaining is skillfully processed into delectable dairy products such as cheese,
cream, and butter. Having been processed, the completed dairy products are now ready to be packed into
containers and transported to supermarkets and stores for sale.

The given diagram illustrates the intricate process of how tea is produced.
All in all, the process comprises 18 fundamental steps, tracing its journey from the lush tea gardens of India and
China to the comfort of one's home where it's savored as a warm cup of tea.
The initial step initiates with the delicate tea seeds being sown. As the sun casts its rays, it prompts the seeds to
sprout and flourish into robust plants.
Once these plants have grown sufficiently, their rich green leaves are tenderly picked by farmers and neatly
placed into woven baskets.
From here, the tea leaves are spread out under the sun, allowing for them to naturally dry and preserve their
aroma.
Once adequately dried, these leaves are meticulously packed into boxes. Following this, the boxes are loaded
onto lorries, destined for supermarkets.
To brew that perfect cup of tea, one starts by purchasing these boxes. Back home, a kettle is filled with water
and set on the stove.
Once the water reaches its boiling crescendo, it's poured into the cup, immersing the tea bag.
Having been left in the cup for two minutes, the tea bag is removed, revealing a golden brew.
At this point, milk and sugar can be added to enhance the flavor of the tea.
The final step entails taking a moment, sipping, and losing oneself in the exquisite taste of the tea.
