FORTH ASSIGNMENT IN MSC 215
(Crisis Intervention Management)
I. Brief Discussion
The family members of those who lost a particular someone are crucial to the
intervention program for those individuals. We are all aware that losing a beloved
someone in our lives is difficult to forget. I require more time, comfort, and
occasionally a particular treatment to get over my loss-related emotions. It is
private, and the majority of those going through this kind of crisis are keeping it
from the public, thus the crisis management committee must address it
immediately. However, the administration has been preparing for such a scenario
and is ready to act if necessary. The DSWD offers therapy to those who are
depressed and unable to move on from a circumstance as part of one of the
government's programs. The government also contributed a small sum to assist
the victims of the aforementioned crises and to remedy the issue if the loss
involved property, one example of which being arson.
II. Comment/Reaction
My opinion on the subject is that it is difficult to deal with this kind of crisis
situation since it requires a lot of circumstances before the victim would want
government assistance. However, it was wise of the administration to be ready in
case a similar situation materialized.
III. Evaluation
My assessment of the reporter is that she tried her best to present the required
material and discuss it with skill and good manners.
IV. Conclusion
My conclusion is, The government has to revamp some of its initiatives to obtain,
eliminate of those that caused victims' services to be delayed in various crisis
situations.
V. Recommendation
My suggestion is that the government respond immediately to this kind of issue
and declare that it requires an immediate response in order to prevent the danger
of suffering further losses.
I. Brief Discussion
The crisis personal victimization intervention program was created to assist
victims in adjusting to the psychological and emotional effects of a traumatic or
violent occurrence. The program focuses on offering tools, support, and
knowledge to victims in order to aid in their healing and ability to move past their
terrible experience. The program frequently offers individual counseling, group
therapy, and other forms of assistance like advocacy, advocacy, and medical and
legal services. The intervention program's objective is to lessen the likelihood of
future victimization while simultaneously giving victims the tools and resources
they need to heal and recover from their experience. The success of the
intervention is heavily reliant on how well the patient is being treated and how
well they are being supported. It is crucial that the victims receive care from
qualified experts who have dealt with personal victimization in times of distress.
In order to stop repeat incidents, the program might also need to address the root
causes of the victimization.
II. Comment/Reaction
My opinion on this subject is that the government should put this program into
action while being cognizant of the various causes and effects of such a
circumstance. The program is excellent; the only concern is if the government and
the relevant agency have carried out their duties in a manner consistent with the
program. The circumstances between the agency and the person(s) involved in the
problem will determine the answer.
III. Evaluation
My assessment of the reporter is that she did her utmost to provide the specified
report or issue in a competent and good-mannered way.
IV. Conclusion
My impression of this is that the government works to offer those programs to
prevent future incidents that might arise if this kind of crisis can't be addressed
and resolved.
V. Recommendation
It is excellent that the government offers the aforementioned initiatives, but in
order to deal with such crisis situations, I do advocate that it strictly enforce and
uphold human rights.
I. Brief Discussion
Giving timely aid and assistance to people going through a crisis, such as a
personal victimization, a natural disaster, or other traumatic occurrences, is
known as crisis intervention. Empathy, nonjudgmental communication, and active
listening are crucial crisis response skills. A cool disposition, quick thinking, and
the capacity to quickly assess and react to a crisis scenario are necessary for crisis
intervention. Along with these fundamental abilities, disaster readiness and
reaction are also very important. This include developing strategies and protocols
for handling crisis situations, instructing staff members on how to use them, and
running drills and simulations to test readiness. Plans for emergency readiness and
response should include emergency medical services, evacuation protocols, and
communication protocols. Prior to any emergency crisis, it is also crucial to
establish a chain of command and assign tasks and obligations to staff employees.
To ensure people's safety and wellbeing in emergency situations, effective crisis
intervention skills as well as emergency planning and response are essential.
Organizations can better serve those who are affected by disaster by integrating
these skills and plan into the workplace.
II. Comment/Reaction
To prevent disgusting or deconstruction of personnel during the response, in my
opinion, it is essential to establish a pre-plan for responding to various crisis
situations. The response is that this issue has it and is prepared to use it in a time
of crisis.
III. Evaluation
According to my assessment, the reporter did a good job of presenting her
allocated topic and engaging in discussion that was appropriate for the topic she
had been given.
IV. Conclusion
In my judgment, the government and the relevant agency followed the correct
procedures while responding to various crisis situations. The critical component
of an immediate response in a crisis situation might be discussed in this topic.
V. Recommendation
As a professional criminologist, I do advise having a sufficient number of staff
available for swift action to solve the agency's lack of personnel as well as to have
a better and faster response when a crisis situation arises.
I. Brief Discussion
Law enforcement personnel should take into account a few key elements that
contributed to the calm and successful execution of the protest when dispersing
protesters. The concern agency's response must employ strategies that do not
endanger or hurt the protesters. The primary responsibility of a law enforcement
officer is to serve and safeguard human life. They may be able to use a non-lethal
strategy to lessen or avert a detrimental situation in response to such a crisis
situation. And take the necessary precautions to guarantee the security of both
parties.
II. Comment/Reaction
My opinion on this subject is that it is the primary responsibility of law
enforcement and other concerned agencies to facilitate discussion between the
two groups in order to come to an understanding regarding the best ways to hold a
peaceful assembly.
III. Evaluation
Based on the topic presented, the reported exhaust available information to
provide clear and wide knowledge on the topic and give his best to have a very
good presentation.
IV. Conclusion
In light of all of this, I think it was good to have this policy in place during a time
of crisis. These guidelines and standards are directing our beloved law
enforcement to carry out their duties in compliance with the law and respect for
human rights.
V. Recommendation
My suggestion is that the government and law enforcement should receive
specialized training on the specific crisis situation in order to respond to it more
quickly and effectively.
FORTH ASSIGNMENT IN MSC 215
(Crisis Intervention Management)
I. Brief Discussion
Dealing with the government's moral and competent crisis intervention program.
This program was created by the government in compliance with the Constitution
and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. When enforcing laws or putting
systems in place to deal with various crisis situations, law enforcement should
take certain elements into account. Always follow instructions, work or respond
professionally, and adhere to the program for the specific crisis situation. Here are
some behaviors that the responder should keep in mind when dealing with or
responding to a crisis situation: Confidentiality, which means that no matter what
the nature of the crisis situation is, it should only be between the victim and the
responder; Non-Judgmental of the person, victim, or suspect; this means that as a
responder, we could not judge them and respect them.
II. Comment/Reaction
I think it is wonderful that the respondent and the government are taking this into
consideration. The government should give appropriate training that is fair to all
parties in order for this program to be successful.
III. Evaluation
My assessment of the reporter is that he confidently discussed everything on his
assigned topic and presented it in a good way. He cited some examples, and
provide literature relevant to the assigned topic and clearly explained to us.
IV. Conclusion
In my opinion, ethics are critical in all facets of every career. The ethics of crisis
management make it apparent that it would/should act in accordance with the
established ethical standards when handling or responding to a crisis.
V. Recommendation
My advice as a criminologist is that the government should have a clear directive
to its agents to respect individual rights and conduct themselves professionally.
