COMPOSITION OF THE SCHOOL CHILD PROTECTION POLICY COMMITTEE

To : Permanent Regular Teachers


Non-Teaching Personnel
Parents and Students
All Others Concerned
1. In order to ensure that special protection to students from all forms of abuse and exploitation and
care as is necessary for his/her well-being, taking into account the primary rights and duties of
parents, legal guardians, or other individuals who are legally responsible and exercise custody over
the child, this School Child Protection Committee is hereby organized.
2. The following are the members of the School Child Protection Committee, to mention:
Chairperson: 1. RIZA Y. LABUSTRO Head Teacher I
Vice-Chair: 2. MARIETA C. FULGUERINAS School Guidance Advocate
Members: 3. RIO E. GONZAGA PTA President
4. GWENETH KAYE D. LLANOS SELG President
5. MELANIE L. CAMAY School Disciplinarian
6. MARGIE A. BENTAYAO Barangay Representative
These members, however, shall be temporarily relieved from the position whenever he or she is the
respondent of the child abuse, discrimination, exploitation, violence, corporal punishment, and/or
bullying complaint. The committee, in this particular case, may appoint other personnel that would
represent the position.

3. This committee shall have the responsibility to facilitate the submission of complaints to the Regional
Director for complaints against teachers and to the Schools Division Superintendent for complaints
against non-teaching personnel. Further, the committee shall perform the following tasks, to wit:
A. Conduct awareness-raising programs with stakeholders in preventing and addressing bullying;
B. Ensure that the anti-bullying policy adopted by the school is implemented;
C. Monitor all cases or incidents related to bullying reported or referred by the teacher, guidance
counselor or coordinator or any person designated to handle prevention and intervention
measures mentioned by the sections of the IRR; and
D. Make the necessary referrals to appropriate agencies, offices or person, as may be required by
the circumstances.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance of all concerned is hereby directed.
