    1. Katara of the Southern Water Tribe was obligated by Avatar Ang to


    sing on Fire Lord Zuko’s birthday on January 10. Katara failed to
    appear on the said date. Katara argue that Ang failed to notify or
    demand her of obligation.

    a. Is Katara liable for damages? State your reasons. (2.5 pts.)

    b. May Ang compel Katara to sing on another day as


    compensation for her failure to sing on Fire Lord Zuko’s
    birthday? State your reasons. (2.5pts.)

    2. Ash obligated himself to deliver a Tauros to Brock. What is/are the


    obligation/s of Ash to Brock? State your reasons. (5 pts.)

    3. Sakura sold and promise to deliver her only house to both Naruto and
    Sasuke. Unfortunately, before the delivery of the title of the house to
    either of the latter, the house was destroyed by natural causes. Is Sakura
    liable to Naruto and/or Sasuke? Explain and state your reason. (5 pts.)
