Introduction
Department of Education Mission, Vision, and Core
Values Statement

In its more than 80 years of existence as cultivator of knowledge, Balingog

East Elementary School has produced thousands of successful graduates
equipped with concrete academic foundations. Having established in
1938, what started in educating Grade 1 and 2 pupils under a small nipa
hut has now become a complete public elementary school catering pupils
from kindergarten to Grade 6. In order to understand the current situation
of the school, strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
more particularly the School Planning Team was organized to plan and
implement different programs and projects that will ensure the attainment
of all identified priority areas of concern of the school.

Aligned with this, it is also the aspiration of the School Planning Team to
produce graduates who possess work ethics, values, knowledge and skills
for global competitiveness, and committed graduates who can actively
participate in developing a just and humane society.

Furthermore, the SPT is committed to provide a safe and conducive

learning environment to all learners through employing strategic
interventions and prevention programs that will demonstrate our
intolerance for any offense that endangers the safety of our learners.
Likewise, Balingog East Elementary School also envisions, being an
elementary school known for excellence, quality and transparency, and
this can be achieved with the strong collaboration and active participation
of the entire school populace.

History
Assess

To fully realize the importance of the schools’ vision, mission and values
the SPT were convene to formulate plan of action that will properly
address the needs of the total school population and including facilities,
before the implementation of the school-based programs and projects.
They unanimously agreed to conduct community-based survey, random
interview and gathered data to identify the priorities areas of concern.

School’s Current Situation

Balingog East Elementary School was established in 1938. It started

catering pupils under a nipa hut beside the house of Mrs. Dionisia Garcia
who also serve the School Caretaker from 1939 to 1945. BEES was the
first primary school in the southern part of Guimba to offer Grade 1 and 2
respectively. Due to the increase of school age population brought about
by the migration of families from the nearby barangays of Catimon,
Banitan, Balingog West and Subul, the BEES teaching staff and barangay
officials collaboratively worked together to looked for a bigger school lot
for the construction of additional classrooms brought by the increased of
enrolment. Through the kind-hearted and generosity of Mr. & Mrs Cenon
Lucas, they donated a lot measuring 10,033 sq. m. From that piece of
land, Balingog East Elementary School was founded and started to build
and mould young minds of the school children of Balingog East, Guimba,
Nueva Ecija. Presently, BEES offers from kindergarten to grade 6 basic
education program with eight (8) permanent competent and dedicated
teachers, and one (1) Municipal Local School Board (MLSB) Teacher. It
caters 216 learners wherein most of them are member of the Pantawid
Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P’s).

BEES has continuously improved itself to better serve its stakeholders

most especially in the delivery of basic quality education as a matter of
fact it is continuously produced successful graduates as professionals and
fortuitously employed here and abroad. The administration and staff
continue to improved and rehabilitate the old school buildings through
DepEd School Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) with
annual budget of Two Hundred Seventy Three Thousand Pesos (P273,
000.00) and other local school fund. In recent inspection of the DepED
Central Office Construction of School Buildings Program, it has an
allotment of the proposed construction of Two (2) Storey Eight (8)
classrooms school building that will surely satisfy the needs of the school
for our learners.

Through the strong partnership and collaboration with parents and

resilient effort to provide a mini-school gymnasium in the school
compound, the PTA had already found resources to provide the foundation
and columns of the proposed gymnasium while the budget for the roofing
was already approved by the Office of the Municipal Mayor and

Enhanced School Improvement Plan 9

Engineering Office in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos
(P250,000.00) through Special Education Fund (SEF) 2019 for the
continuity and finally, completion of the school mini-gymnasium. This
project will surely aid to improve physical and academic aspect of the
school in general.

The BEES has continuously adheres and supports all DepED initiated
programs and projects because its administration and staff constantly
nurture and develop learners as a God fearing and successful individuals.
We continue to provide a child friendly school and safety environment to
stay and live. We prioritize our teaching staff and assist them to grow
professionally through attending seminar, training, workshop, orientation
in the different levels and learning areas. We are presently conducting our
School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) sessions to improve teacher
competencies and integrate information communications technology (ICT)
to keep abreast in the modern method of teaching and learning, and
continue to acquire knowledge on its faculty and staff thru enrolment in
the master’s and doctorate degree program in the different state colleges
and universities within Nueva Ecija area.

Finally, BEES takes pride on its present-day standing in the field of

academic and physical aspect, this may not be left behind in the district
when it focused on academic performance of pupils and teachers because
we always make it sure that no pupils and teachers are left behind in
every mission that our school represent and participate including
monitoring and evaluation of school performance and transparency.
