Day 0 (Oct 29) : Departure from LPU Campus

• Departure Time: 8:00 PM
• Mode of Transport: Deluxe Bus/Tempo
• Distance: LPU to Srinagar (Approx. 460 km, 10-12 hours)
• Overnight Journey: Relax and enjoy the overnight drive towards the beautiful valley of Kashmir.
Day 1 (Oct 30) : Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing

• Arrival Time: Around 01:00 PM
• Check-in: At your hotel in Srinagar
• Rest: Freshen up after the long journey and relax.
• Sightseeing in Srinagar:
• Dal Lake: Enjoy a Shikara ride on the serene waters of Dal Lake.
• Mughal Gardens: Visit Nishat Bagh (Garden of Bliss) and Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love), built during
the Mughal era.
• Local Market Visit: Take a stroll through the bustling bazaars for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and
dry fruits.
• Evening: Return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.
• Overnight Stay: Srinagar

Day 2 (Oct 31 ): Gulmarg Excursion

• Departure Time: 9:00 AM
• Travel Distance: Srinagar to Gulmarg (Approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours)
• Activities in Gulmarg:
• Gondola Ride: Take the world-famous cable car up to Khilanmarg or even higher to Apharwat Peak for
stunning views.
• Meadows Walk: Explore the beautiful green meadows and valleys during summer.
• Return to Srinagar: By late afternoon, drive back to your accommodation.
• Evening: Return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.
Day 3 (Nov 01) : Sonmarg Excursion

• Travel Distance: Srinagar to Sonmarg (Approx. 80 km, 2.5 hours)
• Activities in Sonmarg:
• Thajiwas Glacier: You can opt for a pony ride to reach this scenic glacier.
• Zero point: Take a union Cab to Mighty Zojila pass.
• Trekking (Optional) For adventure seekers, short treks can be done around Sonmarg.
• Return to Srinagar: By late afternoon or evening.
• Evening: Relax at your accommodation and have Dinner
Day 4 (Nov 2) : Pahalgam Excursion

• Travel Distance: Srinagar to Pahalgam (Approx. 90 km, 2.5-3 hours)
• Activities in Pahalgam:
• Betaab Valley: Named after the Bollywood film, this valley is known for its stunning landscapes.
• Aru Valley: A tranquil village surrounded by alpine peaks.
• Lidder River: Enjoy activities like river rafting (in summer) or a leisurely walk by the river.
• Baisaran Valley: Also known as mini-Switzerland, a lush meadow with panoramic views.
• Return to Srinagar: By evening, drive back to your accommodation and Enjoy Dinner .
Day 5 (Nov 3) : Departure for LPU

• Departure Time: Early Morning
• Return Journey: Start your drive back to Lovely Professional University.
• Arrival Time at LPU: Late Night.
