2. Go to the Insert Tab:

- Navigate to the Insert tab on the ribbon at the top of the Word window.

3. Select Cover Page:

- In the Insert tab, locate the Pages group and click on Cover Page. This will open a gallery
of pre-designed cover page templates.

4. Choose a Cover Page Design:

- Scroll through the cover page options and click on a design that you like. Microsoft Word
provides a variety of templates with placeholders for titles, dates, author names, and other
information.

5. Customize the Cover Page:

any placeholder text (e.g., "Title," "Date") to enter your own information.

- In the Word document, navigate to the Insert tab on the ribbon.

2. Select Header or Footer:

- In the Header & Footer group, you will see options for Header and Footer. Click on
Header to add a header or Footer to add a footer.

3. Choose a Header or Footer Style:

- Word offers different styles for headers and footers. Click on the style you like, and it will
be inserted into your document.
4. Customize the Header/Footer:
- After inserting, click inside the header or footer to type your text, such as a title, page
number, or date.

5. Exit Header and Footer:

- Once you’re done, click on Close Header and Footer on the top-right of the Header &
Footer Tools tab, or double-click outside the header/footer area.
