Skill level - intermediate. Pattern does not contain crochet tutorials! You should have basic
crochet skills.
I use the crochet less than recommended on the yarn (instead of 3.00 mm I have 1.7 mm).
Toy's height is about 4,9" (13 cm) tall using the materials stated in the pattern.
Materials:
- The hook suitable under your yarn.
- Yarn: red, black and brown color.
I used «YarnArt Jeans» yarn (160m in 50g, 55% cotton/45% polyacryl). Colors: 71 - brown , 51-
red.
- White, red and black felt (eyes).
- White and black thin sewing thread.
- Toys filler.
- Scissors.
- Tapestry needle.
- Pins.
- Stitch marker.
@DayDarcyCrochet
Terms used:
MR - magic ring
sc - single crochet
ch - chain
inc - increase (stitch 2 times into the next stitch)
dec - invisible decrease (crochet 2 sc together using invisible method)
Change colors in crochet. Loop your new yarn color over your hook. Knit your new yarn
color back through the two loops on your hook.
@DayDarcyCrochet
Notes:
- Crochet continuously in a spiral, unless otherwise specified.
- In order to not lose track of the number of worked stitches in each round, use a stitch
marker to mark the beginning of each round - a thin thread of contrasting color.
- Crochet tightly enough so the filler is not visible through the holes between loops ( if you
crochet too freely - choose a smaller size hook).
- Tightly and gradually fill all the details of the toy in the process of crocheting.
- Size of the finished toy can vary depending on the materials used, the density of
crocheting and filling, etc.
Pleasant knitting! Beautiful and equal loops!

then knit 9 sc in a circle, 2 sc into the loops of those 2 air loops and 10 sc along the circle
of the second leg, total 24 loops.

R9. - R11. 6 sc (6).
Do not stuff of the arm. This way the arm
doesn't stick out too much after sewing it to the body.
Press the opening with your fingers and crochet together,
with sc, both opposing sides. Close. Break the yarn and leave a long tail to sew arms to body.
Belt:
Crochet with brown yarn
R1. 30 ch, starting from second ch from hook 29 sc
Leave the thread for sewing.
Belt2:
Crochet with brown yarn
R1. 27 ch
Leave the thread for sewing.
Finishing:
1. Sew the head to a trunk. * I recommend to use a secret seam. For the better connection of
the head with a trunk, I stitch around two times. Do not forget to enclose a little filler for no
emptiness in a junction of these two parts.
2. Sew hands and belt.
3. Take red and black felt and make a small emblem. Make eyes with thin sewing thread.
4. Sew to a belt.
5. Cut out two eyes from black and white felt. Sew with thin white and black sewing thread.
6. Sew belt 2 on a body.
