ONLINE SHOPPING VERSUS TRADITIONAL SHOPPING
Shopping is a necessity in life, but there are some people who assume that shopping is
a hobby. There are people who shop only when something is needed, and there are also people
who shop when they want something to shop. There are those who prefer to collect various items
at affordable prices, or there are also those who are more focused on collecting branded-items
from famous designers. There are people who like to go shopping to the store directly, and there are
also people who prefer to shop online. Apart from the various shopping comparisons mentioned, it
cannot be denied that online shopping and offline or traditional shopping have significant
differences and similarities to discuss, considering that we are now in modern era.
As for traditional shopping consumers simply need to go to store where they can meet
the seller and interact with each other to do the transaction. If you shop at a traditional market,
you can freely bargain the price as you like. The more you are good at bargaining, the cheaper
the price of the goods you got. Besides, when shopping traditional we will not be fooled because
we do transactions directly. Traditional shopping also let consumers to see the actual product and
so they can touch and feel or to try them on before purchasing them it is less risky and tangible.
However, traditional shopping has limited time because only a few shops are only open 24 hours.
Although, some traditional markets are open from dawn until late afternoon.
Unlike traditional shopping, online shopping has will save time. Since people
nowadays are often so caught up with work and study, shopping online is a wise choice which
doesn't require them to go the stores. We don’t have to leave house and we can spend more time
with family at house. Online shopping makes it easy for us to choose various items and certainly
has unlimited stocks. In this way, people can make a better decision to buy what they like after
taking prices, sizes and models into consideration. However, online shopping will be prone to be
cheated because sometimes when we have paid but the items are not sent. On the other hand, we
need to be very careful when we online shopping.
Although they both have many differences, these two things also have clear
similarities. Both tradiotional Shopping and online shoping help relieving stress, which is the
main reason why many people love shopping. Go shopping or just looking at various items from
one shop to another can release the hormone oxytocin and endorphins in the body. This helps fill
the brain with positive and happy thoughts, so that inner spirit easily increases. Futhermore, we
must have a cash or debit transaction tool, to support the success of tradtional shoppingor even
online shopping. They are both convenient ways of shopping, essential to the human life and
establish communication between sellers and buyers. They both also make us aware of ourselves,
because we know whether this is actually necessary or just desirable. and make us learn wisely in
managing money or financial indirectly. We can determine in advance the product that you will
buy. If you are interested in two similar products together, try to learn to be wise. Compare the
two products and choose one.
The times are growing. In ancient times, we could only shop at markets or stores that
sold necessities. However, in this era, we can access even shop anything through the internet and
smartphones just stay at home. Although there are many considerations, some agree that don't
become a slave who is serving "modern times", and become a fan of traditional shopping. The
other still like doing the online shopping. This is not wrong, not at all. However, the differences
and similarities between these two types of shopping are expected to make us understand about
each characteristics and wondering the fact about online shopping or traditional shopping - and
learn how to strike a balance between both.
